Kareena Kapoor at Madame Tussauds

The first ever IIFA Weekend and Awards took place at the Millennium Dome in London, and with this started what would become a symbiotic relationship between IIFA and the world famous Madame Tussauds Attraction.

Kareena Kapoor, Bollywood’s leading actress, has recently been inducted within the world-famous Madame Tussauds. The figure which was launched in the iconic seaside town of Blackpool, UK, joined a host of Bollywood talent on a special travelling exhibit which will visit numerous Madame Tussauds locations around the world. This tour is a sure indication that the Indian Film Industry is making its mark by giving fans all over the world a chance to interact with their favourite Bollywood hero’s.

The inaugural IIFA Weekend saw India’s quintessential silver screen sensation Mr. Amitabh Bachchan introduced into the Attraction as the first ever Indian to be immortalized in Wax followed by many others including Indian cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar.
