During an Entertainment awards event in Andheri, Priyanka made the first shocking move to give Kareena a warm hug. The Kapoor girl taken unawares was forced to extend a warm hug too. Well, this was a publicity stunt or real reconciliation, is still a mystery to us.

Priyanka and Kareena are the two Bollywood actresses who have been rival since their days of Aitraaz. The Bebo-PC fight started when Priyanka’s outstanding performance in Aitraaz overshadowed Kareena’s presence in the film. The on-screen enmity soon turned personal when Shahid Kapur became the love interest of both the ladies.

It seems Priyanka is now on her way to mend all her strained relationships. In fact Piggy Chops recently did a same jadu ki jhappi act to end her fight with Salman Khan.

Insiders say, ‘Before the current schedule of ‘Heroine’ can end, the second leg of the shoot has been rescheduled as Kareena is to wed her beau Saif Ali Khan around the same time. The idea is to complete the second schedule by the middle of March instead of the end of April, so that Kareena can attend to her wedding and personal life in March and April before she returns to work in May.’

We’re pleased to hear the latest developments on Saifeena’s wedding, but hope Kareena is able to keep her consistency and doesn’t lose the intensity of the role when she resumes filming.

Seems like Madhu has had to pay a huge price to work with popular actresses and we’re not just talking salary wise!

This bit of news was also confirmed by Soha Ali Khan, Saif’s sister.

But by the look of work progress of ‘Agent Vinod’ the wedding will be further delayed.

Earlier the wedding was postponed due to the demise of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi (Saif’s father).

‘Agent Vinod’ has been delayed for various reasons. Both Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan don’t have the required dates for their home production.

Two years in the making and Agent Vinod is still not sure about the day it’ll hit the theatres.

The movie was scheduled for a December 9, 2011 release. However, a delay in the shoot got it postponed to February 2012.

However, the February release is still doubtful and may be revised.

The movie is in the middle of post-production and but some patch work shoot is still going on. Not just patch work a couple of days’ time of shoot is also pending.

However complete footage of the movie is still not at the editing table, as per reports in Mumbai Mirror.

Kareena’s ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’ is also releasing in February so it is likely that ‘Agent Vinod’ may further be pushed.

All this just means further delay and that again tosses Kareena and Saif’s wedding plan.

He admits that while today most marriages last just a night, he’s confident that won’t be the case with Saif and Kareena’s real life marriage.
“Bebo (Kareena Kapoor) is like a sister, and I share a warm equation with Saif. I wish them a happy, long-term shaadi (marriage),” asserts the filmmaker.

The present title has been borrowed from a chartbuster from Khel Khel Mein (1975).

“I love the song and was oscillating between Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and the next line, Donon Mile Iss Tarah as a title,” says Karan.

“I’ve grown up on the Rishi-Neetu Jodi (pairing), no one can recreate their magic, but having seen the final cut last Saturday, I’ll say that Imran-Kareena come a close second.”

He points out that Kareena, who’s been a star for 11 years, made a well-liked match with Aamir Khan in 3 Idiots (2009), and is equally convincing with his younger nephew.

“That speaks for her versatility. Having seen Imran and Kareena together, I’d like to sign them up quickly for another film, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu 2,” he smiles.

“No, I’m not thinking of a sequel. There’s no scope of taking this story forward but I’d definitely like to take this pairing forward.”

He admits that the topic of Saif-Kareena 2012 wedding will come up during the promotions of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu but leaves it to the couple to answer the Where, When And How queries.

He says, “I’ll stick to explaining why I decided to stick to Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and requested Ramesh Taurani to part with it.

He had reserved it for his Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza lovestory that has now been titled Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, but graciously let me replay my favourite track.”

The only casting certain about Ekta Kapoor’s sequel to Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai is Akshay Kumar. While other members of the cast have to be finalized, there is a strong buzz that Kareena Kapoor who has earlier touted to be the female lead of the film will no longer be a part of the project. And Kareena Kapoor’s ex-love Shahid Kapoor might just join the cast as the second male lead.

However Kareena’s exit has got nothing to do with Shahid Kapoor being considered for the film. A source close to the film reveals, ” Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2 is not a solo-hero project but has two male leads like the first part. While Akshay Kumar is confirmed to play the character loosely modeled on the lines of underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim, there is a second male lead who challenges Akshay in the film”. Names like Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were being considered for the part though there’s more probability of the former signing the dotted lines.

For the female lead however, Kareena Kapoor’s name never surfaced after the initial hoopla. “Also there are two female leads in the film”, adds the source but Bebo’s chance of being any one of them seems bleak. Director Milan Luthria has also put speculations to rest that he is casting his Dirty Picture heroine Vidya Balan as the second female lead citing the reason that the character doesn’t suit her.

Priyanka and Bebo actually was not on good terms due to Piggy Chops on and off relationship with Kareena’s ex-flame Shahid Kapoor. Says an onlooker, “As soon as she saw Kareena seated, Priyanka walked up to her and bent over her to give her a warm hug. Bebo reciprocated. For a few moments they exchanged niceties and PC went back to her seat.”

Adds the onlooker, “Everyone was taken by surprise by PC’s move.” Last year, at the annual police mela PC took the initiative and went up to Kareena and said let’s forget what has happened and begin anew. They also danced together with SRK.

“She is one of the finest actors we have in our country. She is a natural actor and she understands cinema very well which is very important. For me Kareena is a diva,” said the 38-year-old director at the Big Star Entertainment awards.

His last film ‘Singham’ was a blockbuster. Meanwhile, Shetty is busy shooting for his new film ‘Bol Bachchan’, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Asin Thottumkal and Prachi Desai.

In his seven films so far, the 28-year-old actor has worked with seven different actresses – Genelia D’Souza, Minnisha Lamba, Shruti Hassan, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor.

Imran says he is excited about his unusual pairing with Kareena, who is much senior to him in the industry.

“I have seen the film and so I can say that Kareena and I look great together. It was amazing to work with her because she is a great actor. The film is good, the script is good and I hope the audience will like it,” Imran said.

The actor, who is a huge fan of Kareena, took photographs of the actress while shooting ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ and producer Karan Johar has suggested an exhibition of these pictures.

“I took random photographs of Kareena with my mobile. She looks amazing in pictures and the photos have came really good. We are planning an exhibition of the photos but we still haven’t decided. Since the photos were taken with a phone, I am not sure how they will turn out if enlarged. If not an exhibition, we may also put it up on the film’s website,” said Imran.

She has been working throughout the year and waiting to take a break from her hectic schedule for a long time. After Christmas Kareena and Saif will be celebrating together.

The Khan Family won’t be celebrating this year because of Saif’s father Mansoor Ali Khan’s death, therefore the couple chose not to be in the town.

Once Kareena returns she will commence the promotion of her film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and finish her all commitments before tying the knot with Saif in February after the release of their film Agent Vinod.

“Madhur and I did talk about ‘Heroine’. For me, however, it would have been like a Bollywood version of ‘Fashion’. Kareena is the perfect choice. She’s such a brilliant actor,” Priyanka told ETC’s “Bollywood Business” host and trade analyst Komal Nahta on his show.

“As a filmmaker, Madhur brings out the best in any actor, and Kareena’s such a superior one,” she added on the episode to be aired Wednesday.

Both the actresses shared the screen in hit movie “Aitraaz”.

Aishwarya Rai was the original choice for “Heroine”, which narrates the journey of a once successful film actress whose career is on the decline.

Bhandarkar had begun shooting with Ash, but the project was put on hold when the actress’ pregnancy was announced. Later, several rumours about the replacement made their way. However, Kareena was zeroed in on as the final choice.

The “Heroine” team is already shooting.

As for Priyanka, she is busy promoting her upcoming film “Don 2: The King Is Back”, in which she plays Roma or ‘Jungle billi’. The film releases Friday.
